Snowball Cottage, formerly Dawson Cottage, is an attractive stone built cottage modernised to a high standard, adjacent to Harlsey House within the Castle Howard estate (of Brideshead Revisited fame).
The cottage is personally supervised and comfortably furnished throughout with two bedrooms, one with a double bed and a smaller one with twin beds. There is a toilet and wash basin upstairs and a bathroom downstairs with toilet, bath and shower. There are fitted carpets throughout except in the modern kitchen area.
Gas central heating, controlled from Harlsey House, is available if required at extra cost. Electricity is extra with meter to be read on day of departure.
Table cloths, tea towels, duvets, blankets and pillows are supplied.
There is also the use of a large garden at the rear of the cottage, and parking space available. Keys may be obtained from Harlsey House next door. Sorry, no pets.
